I’ve read some real gems and broadened my reading tastes considerably since we started this virtual bookclub 22 months ago, all thanks to the recommendations of others.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

thank you VfM4meplse - i'm not sure how you post photographs but i have just finished reading (yesterday) The One by John Marrs, absolutely loved it, really short chapters, bit confusing at first as lots of characters introduced with different storylines, slightly far fetched in parts but very entertaining and food for thought esp in the day of social dating apps etc and the progression of science, who knows one day this could happen, or maybe i'm just a stupid romantic but i didn't want this book to end

However, this has probably been my most favourite book this year, A Boy Made of Blocks by Keith Stuart, probably the most uplifting book and close to my heart as one of my best friends has an autistic son who i love dearly, I laughed and and cried and was literally cheering on from the sidelines

Mastermind: How to Think Like Sherlock Holmes, Maria Konnikova.
^ I just ordered this book from Am*zon.
I have a stack of books to read at the moment. I haven't really felt in a reading mood lately. I did read a free book I got about stress and burnout and got a couple of good ideas from that.:)0 -

I endorse this recommendation. It gives a valuable insight into what it is like trying to manage a child with this disability and the strains it can put on any relationship.0 -
