I think the bottom dress would look fab with the black jacket, opaques & smart shoes or boots, the top one would look good with the tan jacket, where are the dresses from?

Thanks Floss! They're both from Yumi. I'd never seen a store before but there's one at the designer outlet near work and I was drawn in, then when I tried them on, the shape was just perfection. :)

I intend to try to sing at least one new song each week when I go to Karaoke, as I am tired of singing the small selection of songs I have been singing for years.

Good for you, to try new songs.

Trying new things is high on my list of things to do this year and I'm in the process of signing up for a bread making course. It's only a basic course, but that's all I want.

I also bought a Groupon deal for laser hair removal. I had a block done last year, with good results, but need more sessions. I'm also going to have my bikini line done. It's going to hurt soooo much.

I prefer the Picture House too indie. Our local one is great and a good experience going there. I'm undecided about La La Land. I'll be pleased to hear your feedback.

Well *spoiler alert don't read on if haven't yet seen film and plan to*, I know some people have criticized the quality of the singing and dancing or hated the ending, but for me all of it worked as I saw it as a modern film about aspiring artistes who love the old world of Hollywood in days gone by, rather than an attempt to recreate the golden age of musicals. I don't think the ending was the one we would have wished for, but it was the more realistic one.

Morning well almost reached my step goal for the day just need to not be a lazy mare and think I can sit on my arris for the rest of the day. If anyone wants motivation to try and move more can I suggest Lesley Sansone? She does indoor walks some as little as 15mins which is 1mile or approx 2k steps. You can follow her for a good workout or just walk if some of the routine is a bit challenging. It's good for cold wet days.
Indie with your Fitbit have you thought of joining one of the challenges against friends. I find it motivates me a bit more than usual xx

Yes, I might do that with one of my friends who has recently added me on fitbit and we both have goals to get fitter / slimmer etc. Although at the moment I am outwalking her so might be better motivation for her than me!

I went to see Bridget Jones's Baby at my local Odeon this morning and it was a great film. As it was a Silver Screen showing of the film, I only had to pay £3 for my adult ticket. :D I really loved the film and it made me laugh out loud so many times. It is absolutely freezing today and the only drawback was that the cinema did not bother to put the heating on, so I had to keep my coat, hat, gloves and scarf on while I watched the film. :(

I'll be thinking of you LL.:A

I've had a filthy cold for the past few days so feeling fab has been way down on my list. I'm hoping it's on the way out as I'm definitely better than yesterday. My plan is to get up in the morning and get myself all fabbed up and put it behind me.

I've got a chiropody appointment in the afternoon which I look on as a pedicure but find it better. I had to postpone my facial yesterday as they wouldn't have wanted me coughing and spluttering so I'll need to rebook that.

Normal service to be resumed ASAP.:)

LL - My very best wishes for tomorrow, I hope that everything goes according to plan and that you can then start a new chapter of your life with lovely memories of your OH and your mother, with all the other "stuff" firmly banished into the past. xx
