2 x £2 coins in the pot this morning. I'm actually starting to remember to look at the back but nothing exciting.

I used to find the self service machines in supermarkets were really good at paying out but now I rarely get a £2 coin from them. Anyone else find the same?

Really slow going. I'm suspecting it's because I'm on a tight budget (see sig) and not really using cash. Not convinced I'm going to get very far at all but will keep plugging away. Even if I end up with £50 that's better than nothing!

Me! So much so, I no longer go out of my way to use them. In fact, I've had more joy at securing £2 coins by going through the normal checkouts instead and got one this evening as it happens.

I'm on a very tight budget too, so much so that sometimes I dread getting a £2 coin as I can't bear to spend them but need that little bit of cash!

Anything you can put by is better than nothing :money:

2 more for the pot today. I swapped a £10 note for a lot of coins in 7yo's piggy bank. She likes the £2 coins but I sneaked them out without her seeing!

    1 at a quiz,
    2 from shopping
    2 from hubby
    All plain, nothing special.

I also dread it when it comes to the last week of the payday month. Especially if hubby has been very successful for the rest of the month.

Yes, me too. I'm sure they are getting rid of the old pound coins.
