We are Sky customers and we have been given a gift from them to get a free movie.
You get the download and then they also post the DVD to you.
As we are a Direct Debit payer, why are they asking for credit card details?
Is it normal?
Helpline on Twitter has closed so I can't ask them.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Too late now - but I didn't want to enter card details ,so I logged in, found the deal I wanted, then entered the code then purchased - no need to enter card details.0

Thank Dave.
We finally found out how to do it without the card page appearing.
Forgot what hubby did now. Seem to recall it was either a Cookie or a Flash issue.** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -
If this was the £13.99 voucher for something off the Sky Store, it says on the back of the letter or the bottom of the email "if your purchase costs over £13.99 the voucher can be used as part payment. You will need to pay the difference via debit or credit card." and also about if your purchase is less than that it will sit on your account for three years.
Note for future reference: If you buy something from Sky Store through the website, it needs to be funded through a credit/debit card unless you have a voucher. If you buy/rent something through Sky Store on your Sky box, that cost will be added to your next bill.0
