75ml Avoplex to Go. Hands really sensitive ATM, found this really drying and made me itch. Not sure if there is another one lurking, but if so will go to CS. 1/1

I'm not a fan of this either. Never had a reaction like you but the nozzle on these tubes always get blocked and I found the product went gloopy after a time.

Guerlain serum.. In Holy grail. Hanging head in shame but it is botox in a jar and I miss it. I will be buying no fancy clothes this month or shoes.

I hit pan on half baked. Woo hoo. I will be finished by 2020 at this rate. I am so determined to use this palette up for some reason, I don't want to buy or start using another till it is on its last legs.

I have gotten two tiny blister type spots on one cheek, I don't know why as I'm using only my regular items. I restarted the clariins brightening toner and this could be the reason. Who knows?

I am going to throw out the Bioderm SPF. Love it but I feel that I have to stick to the expiry dated on this product only. I really need to get the la Roche posey dry powder SPF and use it. I feel annoyed with myself that I have not been using the SPF as it is really important, I know the acids increase photosensitivity.

Half Baked is one of my favourite eyeshadows. I tried Verve for the first time yesterday and it looked gorgeous. Wore it on its own with Kat Von D Tattoo liner and Urban Decay Perversion mascara. Now this is a lovely mascara but again Tge brush is huge. I only have a deluxe size as well so dread to think how big a full sized brush is. I have an even smaller tube in my stash that came with the GWP at Christmas so hoping that brush won't be too fiddly.

Repaintied my finger nails last night and am wearing OPI Casino Royals. Had forgotten how lovely this colour is.

Do you use the Clarins every day? I seem to remember Caroline Hirons changing her recommendation from daily to every other day a while after she first reviewed it. I see on the Clarins site that others have complained about break outs, and one got a refund after 2 months even without a receipt. Link to page

Love the thought of the Guerlain, worth not buying clothes to use this:D

I often use up hair oils as a hair mask overnight and then washout the next day, my hair gets weighed down pretty easily so it's the only way I can make any use of the heavier oils. Hair looks great the next day too :)

I know it might be a stupid question but what do you put around your head when you go to bed? I'm thinking a towel but know it wouldn't stay on all night.
    Did owe £9,951.96

Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

    Owe Virgin [STRIKE]£5,950.00 [/STRIKE]at 0% til June 2009 £3,427.89. Owe HSBC [STRIKE]£5,460.78 [/STRIKE]2.9% til May 2010 £3,703.07. Owe Post Office £1,676.62 at 0% til September 2010

Sounds lovely, think I need to give it a try. I've only used one Guerlian product so far, a primer its my HG primer now, absolutely love it, have only bought it when there is 10% off beauty or bonus points etc. My bottle is almost finished and I have some primers from advent calendars to use up before buying more and I may try some cheaper options before repurchasing. Would love to try more Guerlian products.

I don't always wrap it - I often put it in a high bun and I have a seperate pillow case for nights I sleep with oil on (so it can be washed straight away). If I've put the oil on a few hours before bedtime it's soaked in enough that there's not a lot of residue on the pillow anyway.

Otherwise I wear one of those turban towels, they stay on pretty well!

Love UD Perversion, I don't find the brush any bigger in the full size TBH. I usually buy the travel size if needed as rarely manage to finish a full size mascara in 6 months, so a full size is a bit of a waste for me
  • Few more UUs yesterday:
    18. Lush Skydancer Bath Bomb WMBA. It was a nice scent but left the water yellow, which isn't my favourite!
    19. Lush Eau Roma toner WBA but I'm trying just plain Rosewater that I got from the health food shop for less than half the money.
    20. Neutrogena Nourishing Body Balm with Nordic Berry WBA. This is nice; proper balm consistency but doesn't leave a 'film' on your skin.
Is anybody else watching the BBC 2 Horizon programme on Hair Care Secrets? It's on as I'm typing this. I've set it to record as well so I can watch it again. Already I've learned how essential conditioner really is, for example and how damaging heat is too. It should be on iPlayer if you've missed it.
I watched this. I was glad to see I wasn't doing too much wrong with my hair. I don't really use heat - very rarely blow dry, never ever straighten or use tongs - and am very generous with conditioner. It was interesting to see that the L'Oreal product they were talking about - Filloxane, which is in the Fibrology range - is one they've published in peer reviewed scientific journals because it's the only thickening product that I've felt actually does anything for my hair. It's only a temporary thing, obviously, but it really does make it look thicker. Which leads me onto an in:
L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology booster. I've had it a few times and decided to get it while it was on offer after watching that Horizon doc. I can only really get 3 uses out of it so I never buy it ful price but I do enjoy it.
    :)
  • Not wanting to enable, nor do I know if it's something they always do but I got talking to a lady at the bus stop while waiting for the bus home from work tonight and was told I can get a complimentary facial at the Liz Earle counter in boots, and receive a sample of C+P with no obligation to buy anything :o

She only told me this after me telling her where I work which just so happens to be in the same shopping centre as the boots where the Liz Earle counter is that she works on so whether it has something to do with that I don't know, but I'm guessing not :D

I'm going to go in tomorrow when I get off the bus before heading up to work and book in for the beginning of February. January was just a trail run for me as it was such a miserable but busy month :o
