As mentioned in my earlier post I've been to Bodycare. Have picked up (as planned):-

    Venus razors

Creightons hair conditioner - I thought I remembered someone saying good things about it here.

    Nivea deodorant

    (unplanned but not so bad):-

2 x body puffs. One for me, one for Emma. They only cost 49p from there.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

3 INs to report - Hask hair shampoo, conditioner and mask to test. They are free so that's ok :)

I haven't looked at the Mr Shoes sale, haven't done for the last four years :eek:but still have items from before that in my gift stash. Sadly I don't have many people to buy gifts for so if there's any local raffles coming up I will donate that way.
I'm hearing reports of a voucher in the Mr Shoes magazine for 200points when buying 2 hair products. This is how I got caught up in the Boots glitches years ago, and I will not be following it up! I have so many products to UU first before I buy any more!

    UU

Herbal Essences Bee Strong Conditioner 200ml - This was lovely - worked really well on my thick hair was was very softening. WDBA
Impulse Very Pink Body Fragrance 35ml - This is one of my favourite scents. WDBA

My face lotion is spluttering and I only have a little bit of shower gel so I hope that those both use up before February. Also no more INs. I've been very good so far - have started to recognise the same kind of stuff going on sale so there's less of an urge to buy it.

Also makeup throwaways - will add to total at the end of year.
TA 2x Barry M Waterproof Eyeliner - lost their sharpness and very short so I've thrown them in the bin.The black pigment has fallen out of one of them and one is stuck in the lid.

Valm I'm really enjoying the OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender think I'll be using this a lot.

I have been very naughty today, have been to a big shopping center for a girly shopping trip and went a bit mad bought 3 things in MAC, and lots of clothes and a few things from boots that were needed.

I'm going to have to avoid shopping for a while.
  • Well i have booked my complimentary facial with a free sample of C+P at the Liz Earle counter :D

Booked in for next Wednesday which just so happens to be the start of February so that will be my new year new start take 2 :o

I hope you like it maddiemay. I haven't tried the double elixir before but I like the booster because it means you can still use whatever shampoo and conditioner you want. I'll be honest my hair is quite thick to begin with but I always want it thicker! I have had anaemia several times in the past though so know where you're coming from. Separate to the thickening aspect loreal conditioners are really nice in general I find. The only one I wasn't keen on was the extraordinary clay one as it was a bit hard to rinse out. I'm going to look at the double elixir now. I hope it works for you! :)
  • So, it's taking so long to get through these darn items. I've only made a small dent in my list:

    Finally used up
    [STRIKE]goat milk soap
    purple candle
antiperspirant spray (pink)[/STRIKE] - Two of them, actually.
    [STRIKE]antiperspirant spray (green)
    blue dish soap[/STRIKE]

Thank you abbe89 for the strikethrough tipoff :)

Still on the go and expected to use up this month
oatmeal hand cream - so close! It's the lotion that never ends ...
    toothpaste
    dental floss
    sea veg soap
    bag of bath salts
    white soap in kitchen

Will be carried over to next month
    little shower cream
    big shower cream
    sandalwood soap
    apricot scrub
    tin lip balm
    mascara
    aloe gel
    pump face wash (blue)
    pump face wash (white)
    small makeup remover
    large makeup remover
    makeup wipes

It seems so tedious to keep detailed track like this ... but it really really helps to use things up on purpose. I'm sick of these dozens, maybe hundreds of partially used up items everywhere in my space.

    Thanks everyone.

I have UUs to report :)

Lush creamy candy bubble bar- WBA HG a nice simple one and a scent i really love. My favourite bubble bar. Makes lovely soft bubbles.

Lush original mmelting marshmallow moment bath bomb- WBA but these are now discontinued sadly. One of my favourite scents and makes the water a pale pink colour.

Lush mmelting marshmallow moment bath oil- WBA this didnt do anything particularly special and i actually think i prefer bomb cosmetics bath creamers if i need a really moisturising bath but the water did feel a little more moisturising. I wish they would bring back the bath bomb format of this one but ill re purchase for the scent.

Lidl cien gloss conditioner- WBA i think this was supposed to be similiar to loreal elvive, certainly in terms of packaging it was! This did a good job for the price and i was happy with it.

Lush hot toddy shower gel 100g- WBA and already have more stashed. I like the scent of this, nice and warming in winter. Decent consistency and lathers up really well.

OPI avojuice apple pie spice hand and body lotion 30ml- WBA i like these, the packaging is pretty and they are easy to take around with you. I liked this scent and it did the job really well. Im nearly through my pack of these and will likely get more in future.
