  • Hiya just an update...

I got a piece of glass cost me a tenner, while i was having a go at taking out the broken glass the old chap over the road came over started talking to me about my window etc never spoke with him before, in the end the old chap did the window which was nice of him watched as he did it, it looked easy. (btw i did make him a cuppa tea and offered some money after he'd fixed he said no thanks im just glad to help out which was nice)

I have been thinking long and hard about this, friday nite opened my eyes with the LL, it could have been alot more serious and its not good that she dont have her phone turned on. Think only thing she is interested in my rent each month. Im going to take a look at renting somewhere else and make sure that they got emergency contacts before i sign for anything.

Police rang me back last nite with the incident number, im not going to give that to landlady cause its all fixed now.

many thanks for advice everyone much appreciated.

Better still, find a nice chap to do it for you. A cup of tea and a 4 pack of beer should be sufficient reward.
Unfortunately, my experience has been that these are in very short supply.

While it is possible to find the variety that will promise to pop over and fix the problem (even where real money is involved), there does seem to be a lack of actually bothering.

I think the key to having this type of commodity is being in a large family (with brothers) or being fit looking and under 25. For me, as with many, these are not the case.

    awww. Well done

To be honest, it wouldn't be within my capabilities to have got as far as you. Not only am I bl00dy useless, I am then bl00dy useless. Compounded with having the equivalent of two left hands and complete manual incompetence.

What a lovely nice old chap. If you've no money, hey, a lapdance costs nothing :P

    :)

    Good luck in the future!
