It's not free, you get unlimited minutes and texts but it's from £10 for 1GB of data and a 12 month contract. If you cancel your Sky TV it'll go up by at least another £10 for the calls and texts. If it was totally free I'd take it myself as my Plusnet is a rolling monthly contract.

Sky TV customers also get free unlimited calls and texts included in their plan for no extra cost. Non-Sky TV customers can either choose to pay an additional £10 a month for unlimited texts and minutes or have a Pay As You Use tariff, paying 10p a text and 10p a minute. I read it as sky tv customers do not have to pay £10.

This is from my 'Your personal invite' email from Sky:



The bit you quoted makes no mention of data which costs a minimum £10 for 1GB.

Yes although they do have some other selling points if they suit yourself. You basically get Sky Go Extra thrown in so can download recorded programs to your mobile device and unused data gets rolled over for up to 3 years and can be used at any time.

Not good value at all. I get 30GB data including 30GB tethering and unlimited calls/texts and can use that allowance in 42 countries for £20 a month from Three.
