I too have collected NSD number 1 today. There are great hopes for tomorrow as I will be at home catching up on all the stuff I have neglected through being at work the past three days, and I will not be going out. Apart from taking the dog for a walk, and I don't take my purse with me for that! One life - your life - live it!0

I'm a bit late to the party but definitely joining in for 2017.
I'm going to aim for 18 in January and want to challenge myself by aiming for 5 in a row!
I did get my first one today

Ok Igor. Run that by me again. The last I knew you were all on a round the world cruise paid for from your lottery syndicate win. A lottery syndicate, by the way, that you all started without the knowledge of myself or marmite, and we weren't invited to join. You all got chucked off the boat in Singapore for drunk and disorderly behaviour, and for being drunk in the possession of an offensive donkey. You say it was Hubert's fault for eating too much of the Curry of the Day and then plonking his hairy arris down in the poshest tearoom in First Class. You say you all hitchhiked your way across Asia then Europe before arriving back at Ennessdee Towers last night.
I have news for you, my lad. Marmite has invited all the January NSD gang members to stay at Ennessdee Towers, and has told them all about you. They are all on their way now with their luggage. Ennessdee Towers has been shut up and deserted for six months. You have just a few hours to open the place up, spring clean, get the heating on, get the fridge and freezer stocked up, and get our Twelfth Night banquet sorted.
Oh, didn't I mention our party on January 5th? How very remiss of me!

Hubert has eaten all the bog roll in a desperate attempt to.....well,I just don't know...who understands the workings of Hubert's brain...?

Feels like cheating a little given the lack of anything open but I'm banking it quick!0 -
NSD 1/20 for me today.
A good start but as jenni_fer says it wasn't the most testing day. Although the internet is always open for business so I'm trying to break the habit of thinking about something I'd like to buy and jumping straight online to buy it.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -

I'd like to go for this challenge for the first time ever. Hoping for a 10 NSD so I can see how hard that is, should be able to manage it as back at work Tuesday.
I won't count bills, mortgage etc but will count everything else as I have stocked up and I'm in need of nothing! good luck to all!0 -
Just popping in to claim NSD #1 we bought some pans and unopenable money boxes earlier but used Christmas money so we haven't spent 'our' money. I don't think tomorrow will be one...last day of the holidays so hopefully going out to do something nice!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3
