  • @Chapuys - I don't even know where you found that address and the contact. Good find. I have this address from the site under Privacy policy >> Access to information / Contact >>

Cavendish House, 18 Cavendish Square, London W1G OPJ

And TOS bottom of the page.

Company number 07157877; VAT registration number 992406303.
That's an unusual "security" feature. I have a debit card issued in Germany for my German bank account, while I'm a UK resident born elsewhere in Europe, why would that be an issue? Never had any problem with the usual e-retailers and with the major payment processors. What retailer is it?

Besides that, any prepaid card reviewed here on MSE should be UK enough for such security checks.

I know right? It is unusual.

I've paid for machinery from the U.S. I cannot get over in the UK. I think the feature is meant to prevent fraud and it was explained to me why... A UK citizen paying for tech from the U.S. using a card number issued in Malta. Its a no wonder it flagged up on their system. With entropay, the card number is generated on the website for the account holder. I am already pretty confident the problem would not occur if I start using the pockit prepay cre, er, wait a minute here... prepay card. And I'll no longer have to make phone calls to confirm the purchase. :D

You could use Monzo or Revolut, much better for USD purchase and better service than Pockit:

Yeah. Is there an actual UK based Prepaid Credit Card site?

I've just discovered Pockit and browsing the site, its UK consumer focused with its promotions, and I thought the site has to be UK based. I was saddened to learn however the site Pockit is based in the States unless Norton has that wrong?

    yeah its there

Bit aggressive aren't you? You're not going to last long on here unless you moderate your attitude, people will simply decline to respond to your threads if you carry on like this.

And by the way, you have no control over who does or does not post on this or any other thread.

No need to stick up for your friend, who's is in the wrong.

And no need for you to stick your oar in at all. Another one for the Ignore list.
