I opened a joint account in February. I then switched a joint account in with 2 DD's on 20th April. I was able to do all this online. I have also set up a Monthly saver.

However, there is no sign of any Gift card, so I am wandering if doing the switch online has scuppered this. There is Also no sign of my monthly saver account when I log in, but the money has transferred out and a DD successfully set up .

I'm beginning to think that the Gift card is not going to materialise as I didn't do it over the phone/in branch..however I'm sure when I first set up the account it was via an online link which said if you subsequently switch within 3 months you will receive the gift card ?

This relates to the earlier offer of £120 and £5/month
Over £2K made from bank switches and P2P incentives since 2016
  • There is nothing in the T&Cs that says how you do the switch. I would call them to chase the card.

    Did you phone them?

Only one DD has been successfully setup? If i'm not mistaken, there needs to be 2 active DD's setup for the incentives. (maybe one DD hasn't switched?)

I remember reading on here that it's best to have 2 active DD's in the old account that had money taken out at least once. I'm guessing yours would have been like this.

I switched to M&S a couple of weeks ago and now am getting emails saying I have not logged in recently and will be sent paper statements. The last time I logged in was 6 days ago. This does not fill me with confidence that I will get my switch bonus.

I applied over a month ago now and still not had a decision despite phoning in a couple of times to chase. Going to phone back tomorrow and raise a complaint if not sorted.

I am in the same position, currently a credit card customer with M&S as well..

Phoned about a week ago and was told because of the TSB fiasco they were overwhelmed with new customer applications...

I phoned today and was vaguely told 'in the next day or two' but they couldn't give a defnitive date. I raised a complaint - over a month where there online system says '3-5 working days' is unacceptable no matter how overwhelmed they are.

I telephoned today and was told very apologeticly owing to demand they are processing applicants from 11th I applied on 14th so still waiting could be due to exodus from TSB ???
