Travelocity has different sites serving different countries. Their .co.uk site will display prices in sterling, while their .com site charges in dollars.

The site I arrived at was in US$.

I suggest that given the urgency of the situation you should phone Trailfinders and get a quote from them. I've always found them very knowledgeable and competitive when it comes to price.

They don't charge for credit cards if that helps

It will be USD on Travelocity.com. That site is now operated by Expedia on their behalf, it's a white label.

Thank you all again. Connectivity not spot here in Fens is the usual virtual villain.

Have never wanted/had a credit card in my life:-)

Yes SW17, noticed that page layout was identical with diff. colours.

Think there is a tf branch in a near town, so will pursue today.

    Thank you all once again.

    What is a white label

It's where a brand offers similar services under a different name.

Very often using exactly the same web site information with a different named header and different colouring.

Saga Savings is a white label of the Birmingham Midshires brand as an example.

I suggest you try ItaSoftware. Takes a while to return results, but could well give you information on an affordable fare on an unusual route.

Similarly, you might get useful ideas from kiwi.com, but check all details very carefully before so much as considering buying from this site.

Have just started fiddling about with ItaSoftware. My goodness - what a resource! Thankyou so much.

Cheeky add-on: Used China Southern for mid-May>end June this year, smitten by 46kg baggage allowance. This was brilliant, taking delayed family crimbo e'thg with me.

Same again would be good, but can't seem to bring up any equivalent. Any ideas please?
