you may have to explain exactly what you mean but -guessing- you expect the inboxes to have the same? .... Then you need to check that windows live mail and blue mail settings for your 2 virgin accounts are both. IMAPJust set up blue mail but unable to sync with "Windows live mail" any tips?0 -
Windows live mail is irrelevant, it's just your email client so it's not possible to sync with it.@virginmedia.com and @ntlworld.com
So, is your BlueMail not syncing with Virginmedia/ntlworld.com? What is BlueMail telling you?Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Sorry for the delay, now up and running but how do I get it to access/download my normal e-mails on my PC?0

I installed Blue Mail on my tablet. Sorry I should have said
"Sorry for the delay, now up and running but how do I get it to access/download my normal e-mails FROM my PC?" Rather than ON my PC.0 -
If you are up and running you should be seeing the same emails on your PC and tablet....Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

...I know the majority of people have internet e mail accounts which they can access from anywhere but this seems to be different....but how do I get it to access/download my normal e-mails FROM my PC?" Rather than ON my PC.
Ahh. The emails already ON your PC can only be accessed ON your PC (actually you can copy them wherever you want and you should make a copy of them if any are important).
But as you now wish to access emails from PC and tablet you should really use the virgin accounts as "internet email accounts".
The reason you are getting different views on PC and tablet is probably because you are still using the "old way" on your PC and "new way" on your tablet. The solution is to - in windows live mail - ADD (**keep the old ones**) the virgin accounts on the PC using the IMAP settings which virgin describes in detail.0 -

Sorry for sounding thick but would I find this in Windows live mail or virgin accounts as I can't seem to locate that setting?0 -
The settings you need define your virgin accounts; virgin tell you what they are but they start off with a. your email address (of your 2 emails addresses) which you obviously know and 2. the password for each email account.Sorry for sounding thick but would I find this in Windows live mail or virgin accounts as I can't seem to locate that setting?
Then follow the guide below (the version of windows live mail may be slightly different and the virgin settings may be slightly different...but touch wood they'll work...)
NB. in summary again, you are ADDING **NOT** CHANGING anything on your PC in windows live mail (this is to ensure that you do not lose any emails)

Just a thought before I attempt that, would all the 4 years e-mails stored on the virgin server suddenly appear because there are probably several thousand?0
