  • Glad you are feeling "reassured. i think at least half of the stress of moving originates from solicitors and another chunk of stress is caused by estate agents. my Buyers are reassuring themselves on a couple of points - the points seem very clear to me but they are first time buyers and very cautious. Lucky things their parents are buying the house outright for them .....
At least you have a date to aim for, even if it is a few weeks away.

Fabulous news :j hoe goes smoothly for you xx

My solicitor phoned today, the buyers want to complete on Tuesday, they're transferring the funds so should exchange on Friday or Monday. Can complete next day as property is empty, I'll just have to go round Tues morning on my way to work to take meter readings and drop keys to estate agent..... and say goodbye to my family home :(

Pleased you're nearly there too Tigz but I do get the sadness of letting your family home go too :( As much as I am so excited to be moving I do keep stopping and thinking about this place, ds was only 3 when we moved in so most of his childhood has been spent here. This place has been my safety net, my own little bit of security, my place where I moved on from my horrible ex.
