Without cross ventilation, opening a window does nothing sometime;
I run a dehumidifier in the bathroom and it's just fine, needed actually. I can open a window but there're days when there's no wind, no nothing and without a dehumidifier it'd would stay damp,

I put mine in the hallway and open all the doors. Yes, my toilet trap does drop but not enough, and gets replenished a few times a day.


The sink ones I have not noticed, but you could always put a plug in it. Also my thoughts them being a long chamber of stagnant air there is little movement.

Guess you'd need to block the overflow holes as well?
