God help your children how they'll cope when something goes wrong.
That's a much more important lesson that what you were preaching!0 -
It reminds me of a couple of Christmases ago when a relative of ours brought a young child on Boxing day with a £500 ipad under their arm. They stayed 2-3 days. It was left on the sofas for us to sit on, left on the stairs for us to tread on. Food and drink was spilt all over it. I kept saying to my wife "what do we do if we sit on it? Do we offer to pay for a new one?" Luckily it went home with her and she took another couple of weeks to break it.0

Any news on the ipads OP ?
Did your kids get through the tough time ?
Just a question but did they know they were getting the ipads for christmas ? If not then how would they be devastated.0 -
Back to the OP.
You've ordered some goods, they've not been delivered. Why or how is none of your concern. The courier is the retailer's agent, not yours.
Tell them that if they don't deliver or refund in full within 14 days you'll issue proceedings.0 -
Why would you order them the week before Christmas ? Common sense tells me that stuff takes longer to be delivered at the busiest time of year,0

Note to self - visit specsavers
Me too-but I read it that the relative turned up with a child under her arm, who had an iPad under her arm. Doh!No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
I fear there are a number of threads and posts on the forum today from people who are simply bored rather than have a specific consumer issue..0

There are indeed. What's worse, there are some posts from different users who are one and the same.:o0 -

I agree.
Tell them you will be doing a charge back on your card.
