Refund from t-mobile for account credit?

Hi

For reasons too long to explain my t-mobile account is in credit. Since the contract has ended I was planning on using one of the latest offers around and port the number to orange or o2. Would I be able to have them send me a cheque for the credit? It's the last line I have with T-mobile so I would not be able to use it towards another line. Does anyone have any experience on this? Thanks.

If your account is in credit, then you are entitled to it. It's yours.

Just call customer service and ask for a cheque.

    good luck.

Yes you definitely are entitled to a refund, if you phone customer services 0845 412 5000 they will happily arrange for it within 14 working days, if you originally paid by Direct Debit they will simply refund it into your bank account or will issue a cheque if it was paid by other methods

same thing will happen for me in a month or so, i will be due a £165 refund for being overcharged line rental in jan. I made sure i got a letter in writing telling them as such at the time due to the likelyhood of them 'forgetting' about it now. Anyway, if you have a new mobile with inclusive minutes you can call them on 07953 966 150 - it is listed on their website for overseas uk customers, but is a uk mobile - hence free if you have unclusive mins.
