better than half price kids clothes! £25 saved.

Got shorts out of the top of the airing cupboard. All moved down a child, no shorts need be bought this year.

Sadly council tax rose (£13 a month more) and Gas and Electric rose (£20) at the best rate I could find.

Our council tax has gone up £8 per month this year, after 3 years of no increases. Boo hiss.
I have saved some good cash on cheap football strips for ds in the sale at the SAFC shop. Total saving for me of £158.16 and a reminder of why he never, ever gets the brand new strip at the beginning of the season...

  • was given 20 black flower pots (you know the ones supermarkets use to hold their bunches of flowers?) they are large enough to fit all my tomatoes, peppers and aubergines in. Gonna conservatively claim £10 as if I didn't get them for free I'd pick up bits at the bootfair but wouldn't spend more than that
