We got an email from our employer that we will be given a 1.1% payrise from 1 October. I didn't even know there were negotiations! It's nationwide for people in the same type of employment. €75 net for this year.

Just caught up with everyone's posts since my last visit - there's been some serious wombling going on while I've been gone. Well done guys.

Me and DOH got free tickets to see 80s singer Marc Almond in concert on Friday night which was an excellent night out. I'm thinking a nominal womble of £44 for these.

Saved £130 shopping around for home insurance instead of just renewing so I was extremely happy with that.

Wombled x2 DVDs from the staff room today "free to a good home" so £2 there.
My lovely niece bought a box of biscuits, a pack of freedos and a Toblerone around on Sunday to say thank you for inviting her for Sunday lunch.

Saved £31 on a 45% discount code on some shopping so was extremely pleased with that.

Sold DD2's Sylvanian families and other random Doll's house bits for £128 - she's made up. I won't include it in my wombles as it's her money but I was so pleased to free up the space in the loft more than anything.

All in all a good few weeks. I'm so busy at work but trying to keep on top of the wombles as I just love it. I get a real buzz everytime. How about everyone else? xxx
