Bought some Lino for the laundry room - was about to pay £99 price tag for it - the guy then reduced it to £80. I was so pleased. Saved £19.
Mum bought me Sunday lunch last week saving me £10 and got £10 worth of stuff for DD1 to take to Uni for free so another saving.
Also, saved £3 on parking ticket on yearly boob-squashing appointment. A lovely lady pulled up to the ticket machine and gave me hers. The nice thing was I was able to do the same thing for the next person. Does that count as a round-womble?
Washed both cars this morning when normally would just take them to the car wash so saved myself a cool £12 on that.
Hope we're all having a nice day - I've got what seems like a million 13 year olds here for DD2's birthday bash. Just been to laser quest and bowling and they've had a ball.0 -

I'm still wombling like a mad thing, but my life has gotten a bit manic. Long story short my work contract is coming to an end on the 26th and there hasn't been much time for anything other than frantic job hunting.
Since last posted I have wombled a confirmed £56.40 off my M&S order using the £50 voucher I got through Martin's email long ago and a 10% code using my sparks card.(This meant I got 2 pairs of shoes for £8.05)
I have also wombled a lot of other things and stupidly didn't keep track, so will claim what I think is a conservative £60 of wombles made up of supermarket offers, food items given to me, £20 spending money, free meals and coffees and various other little bits.
I really hope the lack of people on here is just because life has got busy and not because people have given up on wombling because Bob isn't around. I don't mean this in a morbid way but the best way to honour Bob's commitment to this is by keeping it going whilst she is having a rough time.
Good luck to all, may your wombles continue to grow!Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Florence threads ebb and wane in popularity, sad I know, there are many great threads that once I join they seem to tail off (maybe I'm the angel of death!) I know for my part I have had a lot less time for wombling and it has been slow the last couple of months....
That said today £2.50 off using reward points - trying to boycott Sains due to dubious joining of forces with the daily hate. Felt good knowing they were paying for my shopping
£1.99 for a free latte at McD - not one coffee/bean did I purchase for that full card
That's all !DF as at 30/12/16

Florence, Determined and Siebrie, I am glad that you have all continued to post your wombles. I find that documenting the savings I am making, really makes me do my research where necessary before buying and it focuses my mind on getting great value for money on essential items. It is a real shame that Bob is no longer able to host this thread, but it does not stop anyone from wombling.0 -
