To be honest we're all pretty screwed because the phone networks wont disable this feature because they make money form it, so bend over and let them have there way with you.
Not so. I rang Tesco mobile and they immediately removed/ blocked all premium rate texts on my phone. No issues since0 -
Some mobile providers will block these. Others refuse to do so.
Regulations covering this facility will change later this year.0 -
If you reply "STOP", the network will have a record of that text. You are then in a strong position to demand that any further texts from that number must be refunded.
And the downside is.......?0
