    Sorry to hear you've been having so much trouble. I was going to place an order with them tonight for a DVD boxset but you've just talked me out of it:T

    Stargate season 5. The Hut were the cheapest but now virgin are if you take into account the 10% discount I get from them at the moment. I'm not desperate as I'm only up to season 2 - not far behind the rest of the planet :rolleyes: so I'll wait until some else's prices drop.

    I got a refund a couple of weeks after sending back the knackered CD's. Still dissapointed with how they handled it and lack of CS Staff. They are still the cheapest around for the same CD's but I'd rather pay a little bit more knowing that I can get a resonse from the company! Sorry to hear you have still not got your money back chas.

    Yippee!! Just got a letter from my credit card company to say that whilst they are still investigating my claim they are crediting my account with the money taken by Virgin Megastores. I bet my CC company are having as much trouble getting through to VM as the rest of us.

    Also everyone beware that Virgin Megastores are about to change their name (I wonder why). The new benchmark name for shoddy :mad: customer service from November will be ZAWI.

    just found this thread and completely agree with everything said, virgin ( zawi ) are so shockingly awful I cannot really what I want to say about them here!

    Ordered wii play and remote as it said in stock, was back ordered for 3 weeks then I get an email saying dispatched, no info on who was delivering it.

    2 weeks later nothing so tried their CS phone number, never got answered ever, no replies to their CS email either, also found the 020 number and spoke to receptionist who got someone to phone me back, got told they just sent item normal post and they class it as lost so said they would issue a refund which took 12 days! . The receptionist admitted that the day I phoned there were only 2 people working in CS!!

    Dont be seduced by lower prices, AVOID THEM

    If only Ihad seen this thread last week, I would NEVER have placed an order with them.

    I paid with a Bank Debit card so I expect that I will never see my Money ever again.

    Surely they can't get away with this? :mad:
