My store didn't look any different this afternoon. No more stock has appeared, no empty shelves awaiting sale stock and no big baskets or trollies waiting to be grabbed. All the secrecy is annoying me a bit this year for some reason and I normally quite enjoy the intrigue of it all! Me and DD will still be there though with the best of them whenever it is!

Last year, the sneaky sods moved stuff around after I went in for my recce :cool:

I haven't even got around to checking in the big store yet this year, I really need to up my game

Had to waste some time earlier waiting for someone so went to a local'ish store. As soon as I walked in could see 70% sale signs on top of some shelves....as I got closer it was clear that these were on the back of the 50% sale notices but had become visable as some sale signs were removed to add summer stock to the shelves in behind. Had a look to see if there was a date on it but it was exactly the same as the 50% ones. As its not my usual store, no idea how long the signs have been there.

There were also a pile of half price tickets on the side - but again I think these had been removed when they cleared an area of sale stuff. No 70% ones lurking there!

Did seem to be quite a lot of stock but it was quite messy!

Or know a neighbours friends unclea dog who works there?!

My local has LOADS more stock. All compact onto 2 shelves.

last year my local didn't even start putting up signs until after they'd opened on 70% day...by which point the shelves were virtually bare and it was hardly worth their while :rotfl:

Have noticed a lot more stock coming online today / yesterday. My local has also moved the sale stuff to make way for the summer things now.

The 70% header cards are printed on the back of the 50% ones so they have been up since Boxing Day.
