    I think that if you connect Outlook using IMAP (or even POP, if anyone uses that still) then it will probably won't be affected.
    But if Outlook was connecting using Microsoft's proprietary method (can't remember what it's called) then it does need probably attention as per the links posted earlier.

    I have around a dozen different email accounts, all of which are accessed using POP3/SMTP. I can think of absolutely no reason to change.
