Wrong reg number

Hi There,
I have received one of these so called charges, today is my 25th day and have gone on to appeal the ticket.
The question I have is that on the ticket they have written the car registration wrong, in there haste to get the ticket written out one letter is wrong, is this further grounds for appeal, when I do appeal do I put the correct reg number or the one they've written.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1st did you get a ticket on the windscreen or in the post? On screen then they may not be able to contact you via the dvla.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

hence the reason for asking the above questions , plius the OP says he is appealing on day 25 , so I think window ticket

Hi,
Thank you for the reply.
The company involved is UKPC (UK Parking Control).
The reg number doesn't show on the system but it does on the photo's that they have taken so if they apply to the dvla for the reg it'll probably come back unknown, so they would then probably then refer back to the photographs for the correct one.
I received the ticket on the windscreen.0 -

Just says unable to find parking charge0 -
If I type in the registration number they put down it finds it.0

umm , take screen shots showing the wrong vrn with the car ,
they cannot ask for your details untill day 28 , and can only ask once ,
this might be a case of holding back on the appeal , screenshots of denial of appeal aplication should be taken (your vrn)Save a Rachael

Sorry Just to clarify,
If I put in the correct registration number I'm unable to pay it, if I put in the incorrect number I am able to pay it.0
