Miele if your budget permits it. Else Bosh/Neff/Siemens. Dont waste your time or money on anything else.

Tend to agree with Ryder here, though AEG are higher spec and better quality than the rest of the Electrolux group gear and pretty good too.

I echo also the statement by Ryder, Miele would also be my first choice if money was no object (that is an opinion drawn from hands on experience from both their industrial appliances and also domestic appliances)
  • I had a Miele from John Lewis along with the 5-year extra insurance, never used to but now enjoy the peace of mind. I had it connected to the hot water, (manual says OK if it does not go over 60 deg :D ) only use the auto and my dishes and pans have never been better (use the powder). Love it, not a single problem and love the upper cutlery tray.

Goes beautifully with my Miele fridge/freezer bought years ago and never a day's trouble although Bosh etc., as ryder72 says are equally as good, all in my opinion of course. :)

  • I have an AEG and am very happy with it, had it 7 or 8 years and no problems.
  • Inherited a Fisher Paykell with house move. 2 drawers. Quite the most useful and brilliant piece of kit.
  • We've previously had free-standing AEG and Bosch dishwashers - both worked very well but you do have to regularly clean the filter and check the spray arms are clear for optimum cleaning.

We've recently purchased a Siemens integrated dishwasher with cutlery tray from Marks Electrical - at the time they were the cheapest supplier. Dishwasher was a nightmare to fit - instructions/template for door were incorrect/misleading! Really pleased with the cleaning performance of the Siemens dishwasher and love the cutlery tray (although it does mean there is less space for tall glasses).
