We've had our Bosch dishwasher for 16 years. It's still washing dishes.

For me I rely on Bosch. Never had any problems with them. Bought normally through John Lewis, as they will price match.
  • Just bought a Bosch.
Can't fault it in any way.

While I appreciate it probably isn't made in Germany, German made is usually faultless - their company image is more important than anything, so the goods must live up to expectations.
  • Had a cheap Biko one which has worked perfectly for the last 6 years.

If, or when, we need to replace it I will pick the quietest one I can find irrespective of make.
  • Another vote for Bosch.

Ikea do offer 5 year warranty.

    John Lewis offer 2 years

And whichever you choose, check your credit card and bank account, as you may well have an added years makers warranty, if you pay with the account offering extended warranty.

I've just bought a Bosch to go in my new kitchen but no appliances fitted at the moment as waiting for the electrics to go in. What appealed to me was the model I've bought has a red dot that shines on the floor giving the remaining time left. Unsure what I think of the newer dishwashers where there is a tray in the top for cutlery instead of a basket, time will tell.

We've had one for about a month & it works fine. Unfortunately it means the dishwasher takes more crockery & we keep running out!
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
