Hi all, I would like to join for the first time please! I don't know why I haven't joined before but have been aware that I need to keep a much tighter check on my grocery spends. My budget is £25 per weekto include cleaning products and toiletries. This is just for me as a single person and although it''s higher than some of you are setting it will be a good starting point for me! My week starts on a Wednesday so I will start on Weds 28th. Excited to be keeping a better track and hopefully getting better value too!:j£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[

Just popping in to say good luck to you all. I will be joining you in February, just need to sort a few things and get in the frame of mind before starting.
Does anyone have a fussy eater to accommodate?
DS is extremely fussy with a limited diet and I want to encourage him to eat better. I am going to order a couple of divider plates so his 'new' foods don't touch what he would normally eat as otherwise he won't eat anythingThe plate for me will be so he doesn't feel odd eating from it and I am also hoping it will help with me losing weight as I can use a small section for meat and fill the largest one with veg.
I will be following everyones progress this month and hoping to pick up a few tips ready for when I start.0 -

I have a very funny eater here too. My 16 year old has Autism and is incredibly funny about food texture.
He also decides from day to day if he will be vegetarian, vegan or carnivore.
It makes meal planning almost impossible as i dont know what he will eat (or if he will eat) from one day to the next.
He adores sweets and fizzy drinks, but i am trying to get him to eat healthier. Unfortunately he rarely leaves the house, but i have decided that i wont be doing almost daily runs to Morrisons to get him any junk food as from now.0
