If you don't feel it is correct, dispute with the DPA. With a picture like that (of the damp ceiling) which looks like an external water source coming in, i can't see that being purposeful damage caused by you. That should have been put right during your tenancy...

They charge £60 just to exit, it's part of the contract, I don't know what it's for though. The damage to the lock didn't get mentioned again.
It is relatively common for contracts to specify a fee to cover the check-out inspection.
Do you know who gets the £60? The landlord or the agent? If the agent, are they also charging the landlord a fee for the check-out?0 -
I think you're right it's to cover the inspection and documentation, I'll dig out the paper work tonight when I'm next back at my flat.0
