I remember a thread like this a good few years ago when I was a member but I can't seem to find it. If there's already a thread please let me know :)

UPDATE: I've found Fairyclicks old thread here
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4360443
But anyway, it was a really good thread. Each member posts 10 (or however many you like) positive things to complete each day and updates the post with however many you managed to complete.

For example:

1. Finish the ironing
2. Pay money into bank
3. Make doctors appointment
4. Ring Sky
5. Batch cook
6. Change bedding
7. Take dog for a walk
8. Have a relaxing bath
9. Watch tv episode
10. Clean washer drawer

Hope I haven't duped a thread!

  • Hap Hap Happy me, this works very well.

    Iron 5 items UNDONE

Put stamping stuff back in its proper home DONE
Take wheely and food bin out DONE

Didnt do the ironing but did manage three loads of washing so just one more basket to empty tomorrow. Got lots dry as well, all folded up in basket and will put away tomorrow (some of my clothes places are quite awkward to access so will get all together before battling that one).

    Now for tomorrow:
    Sort out magazine subscriptions
    Do two loads washing
    Finish drying
    Make doctors appointment
    Scan paperwork and then shred
    Empty shredder
Do menu for remainder of this week and all of next week
Do income sheet for 2017, paydays etc
    Bring diary up to date
Check D/D has been paid and bring accounts book up to date

See you tomorrow night then, fingers crossed for another positive day and the bonus this week is that I have had two no spend days in a row.....will tomorrow be a third:eek:
