Yea I wasnt the biggest fan of Mankind Divided. I bought it on release and got about two thirds of the way into it, before getting completely bored. I havent even finished it or gone back to it (but it wasnt as much of a flop as IW, that game was actually unplayable!).
I didnt like the way there was 'zones' on the map, which alerted you in advance that place was an area of interest or danger. It should just let me wander around freely without warning, and if I get my head blown off, then I know next time not to break into that house e.g.......
Not show me on the map and display messages when I enter a 'zone', ruining the sense of freedom.0 -

I miraculously finished killzone shadow fall yesterday.0

Monument Valley. It was great for about 20 minutes but the game is so short! It should be a crime to make half a game like that, if youre paying for it then they should have made twice as many levels.
This was when I was really trying to get enthusiastic about the mobile games scene0 -
For me it's Resident Evil 6, i think the game because it has too much over-the-top action and too little horror. I really expect too much horror from it since it's resident evil.0

WatchDogs 2 the biggest let down!0

Dont game any more, apart from a bit of drunken messing about on an old Gamecube.
Disappointments in the past were:
Mario Sunshine: I was expecting a Mario game. A 3d version of Super Mario World or something. What I actually code was a toilet like experience starring Mario. It was also insanely hard and I dont do hard games. I loved F Zero GX tho, but I used a cheat disk to unlock stuff on that.
Resident Evil Outbreak: Massive load times, weapons keep breaking and a virus countdown timer spoiled what would otherwise have been a fantastic game.
Dirt Showdown: I actually expected a rally game. The last good one I played was Colin Mcrae Rally 2005 on PC. Other ones just seem crap and not dedicated rally games.
Sonic Adenture Battle: Similar story to Mario Sunshine, I expected something more like older Sonic games with updated graphics and environment. The modern versions of these games are extremely cheesy aswell.
Metal Gear Twin Snakes: Fantastic game but they made the CGIs way too over the top. They also cut out the Meryl bathroom codec calls. Minor stuff, but significant disappointments.
Pokemon Colloseum: Cant remember a lot about this, but I do remember you couldnt do as much stuff you could in the N64 equivelant.
Mario Kart (on the Gamecube): F'ing rubbish, simple as. Loved the N64 and GBA versions.
Gran Turismo 5: Cant put my finger on anything specific, just didnt have the appeal GT 2 had on the playstation. Rally version in all these games sucked compared to the Colin Mcrae series.
Thats a lot of disappointment TBH. Mostly from the Gamecube/Ps2 era, so maybe thats roughly the same time I just wasnt as into gaming as I used to be.
Surprisngly good games were:
Metal Gear Solid (ps1)
Diablo 2 LOD (PC) Bloody addictive if somewhat complex!
Super Smash Bros. Melee (GC)
Resident Evil 2 and 3 (various)
Resident Evil 1 (Gamecube)
Various gameboy pokemon games (N64 and Gamecube era, never played later ones)
F Zero GX (GC)
Sonic 3 and Knuckles (Mega drive/Genesys)
G-Police, best ps1 graphics ever!
I tend to be a fan of zombie killing games so I loved Dead Nation, RE4 and 5 aswell.Sometimes my advice may not be great, but I'm not perfect and I do try my best. Please take this into account.0 -

.
I hate this game. I remember seeing reviews which made me really want it. It turned out to be so difficult I couldn't even do the first mission. So a total waste of money. What makes it worse is I had talked about how much I wanted it with my dad and he brought it home one day as a surprise. I still feel bad to this day for wasting his money when he did something so nice.0 -
Batman Arkham Knight and !!!!! 3 (apparently the well known Italian mob is a censored word) stand out as massive disappointments for their incredibly poor PC performance. Watch Dogs 1 for it's visual downgrade from the incredibly E3 demo.
I find the criticism aimed at Watch Dogs 2 above hard to understand, after a few drone upgrades I don't even get out of my car to complete the majority of missions. It was a refreshing change in that it gave you a set of tools and let you figure out how best to use them yourself, no instructions needed, just imagination!0 -
Siren Blood Curse. Beautiful but unplayable, much like its predecessor Forbidden Siren.
