Found myself browsing a bargain site on line and found a skirt I really wanted - and then - thought if I buy it I would have to take cash out of my envelope and so I didn't :rotfl:
I have however bought 2 pairs of thermal socks as tired of cold feet. £10 removed from envelope (there were £12 but as I only have notes in there I've made a comment on the front!)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

I think thermal socks are an excellent investment Watty1. It's been so cold, no even ugg boots are keeping my feet warm at the moment.

All but three of my eBay listings have finished now. 30 sold of the original 54 items listed so that's another 18 items taken to the charity shop. It feels really liberating to not have many items of clothing. Everything I have kept is well fitting and comfortable (other than the Zara shirt I had on today which has funny buttons on the sleeves up to the elbow and the buttons are backed with metal which has really been irritating my arms today). That shirt will go on eBay shortly, there are others in my wardrobe to wear instead.

I have ordered 3 items of running wear and a pair of jeans using offer code in this week's MSE email. Won't add to total just yet (will be £19). The running stuff is needs (not that I'm back to running again yet) and the jeans were a 'want'.
Spend less now, work less later.

Do I win the highest spend in a month? It's going to be a long year!

£1.41 today but would have been £14 without vouchers.

eBay selling is going really well. I listed 53 items, 22 items sold, which earned me over £400. The items which did not sell have been relisted for another week and if they don't sell I will be taking them to the charity shop.

Wow, that is impressive - quite the incentive to have a proper clear out!

Sounds like everything you have bought has been needed, so all are "mindful" purchases :)

Really, go for it. the grand total for the sales is £492.17. Its nice to not have to wonder where clothes are too, as I only have one wardrobe of clothes now :D

I have a shoe carousel, which is just in the way so today I have ordered one of those pocket things which hang over the back of the wardrobe door to put the shoes in.. My aim in to have nothing other than furniture on the floor on my bedroom!

Could you take the boots to a cobbler and see if they can stretch the calf a little bit for you if you really like them?

I decided to wear them and see if they give and they have :money:
