In debt but still give to charity?

I do but mainly via buying from charity shops - don't know if this counts in the way you mean. I also donate to charity rather than give Christmas cards each year. I also give generously on charity days at my school as I feel it is important to be a role model to the next generation.

I have a moneybox from my chosen charity into which I put my small change. It isn't a huge amount but I usually fill it. A lady comes around once a year and exchanges for a new one. It works for me.
