I'm not sure what level of service you expect for what will be a very small fee or free insurance product with a £25 excess.
You seem to have gone for the cheapest possible insurance but want all the benefits that. Come with more expensive standalone cover. You turned down expensive cover which would of done pretty much everything you stated and are now moaning that cheap cover isn't as good.0 -
Replacements
(1) Where we replace the mobile phone the
replacement may be a remanufactured
(not brand new) device
(2) We will attempt to replace your phone
with one of the same colour but we
can’t guarantee to do this or replace any
limited or special edition mobile phones
(3) Where we send you a replacement or
repaired item, this will only be sent to a
UK address
If you are charged by your network for your
replacement SIM card we will reimburse you.
So as I already said they have done nothing wrong and you have no case. The terms and conditions are very clear.0 -
The terms and conditions state I will be contacted if my phone cannot be repaired. This was not done.
It also states a comparable model of the same make and model, it does not specifically state an exclusion of colour, only of special editions.
So looking at ryan121's post you were wrong when you said the terms don't cover the colour issue for replacements?Replacements

surely the key question is whether the new one is warranted for 2 years? What did the warranty actually cover in that time period and would it be extended to include the full year period if a replacement phone was supplied in that time?
OH has a Galaxy S6 which has bricked once and then screen went on replacement. He has 24 hour replacement cover with Orange etc and the warranty is ongoing. Each time they discussed with him what colour replacement was available.0 -
Insurances from retailers generally extends the warranty up to the length of the old one0
-
Yes mobile phone insurance generally covers you when your phone is out of warranty any way.0
