I had the problem the OP had - it was to do with something I had installed, which I didn't actually need, and once I'd sorted it (with help from the egg techies) it's been fine. I would contact egg, they were very helpful.
I can't get my HSBC account either, but can't really be bothered to sort it, as I'll be closing it in a few months. Still, at least it's not just me!

I managed to get my HSBC account onto Egg Money Manager.

Try this;

Go to

Internet Explorer then Tools then Pop Up Blocker then Pop Up Blocker Settings

you'll then see a box - type in www.hsbc.co.uk and then click Add then type www.egg.com and click Add then click Close.

Now try to add HSBC to your Money Manager again.

It worked for me about ten mins ago.
