And they wonder why it happens.
I know this is wandering off topic from the original subject but you have to applaud these schemes where police forces will crush uninsured vehicles.
You pay the £200 fine, source insurance (at vastly increased rates because of the IN10 / IN12 conviction and only then do you get your car back. Fail to do the above and the car is crushed.
ANPR cameras and the Motor Insurers Database are starting to make a difference.0 -
Why crush them though? Why not impound them and sell them on at auction?
Regarding the OP, I would just tell the truth and let the police deal with it. If you lose some mutual friends by telling the truth then they're not proper friends.Happy chappy0 -

Can i do this tho if ive said i gave him the keys to work on the car, does that not mean im the main witness or something.

Claire, I think your question is stepping beyond the realms of what advice we can really give on a discussion forum. Would hate to say "you will be okay" and then they throw the book at you.
Do you have access to a legal advice line with any of the following:-
Union membership
Bank account
Household insurance
Car insurance.
If so give them a call and speak to a qualified solicitor who can talk you through your situation.0 -

If your statement is THE TRUTH then what will happen if you withdraw it is that everyone on here will think you are an idiot and so will all those people who have been putting pressure on you.0
