Hello,
I received a phone call and email from a company that said the following: We have a list of over 10,000 hotels and resorts, which in the last 3 years at one time or another have failed in food and hygiene checks, Injuries and Sickness. As a result there has been refunds set up for anyone who has traveled to the affected resorts and hotels. The details we require in order to proceed and assist you in claiming your refund is: Booking Confirmation - This will be in your email inbox - this should have been sent to you at the time or around the time you booked the holiday, or if the holiday was booked in-store you receive paper copies of the documents.
Anyone knows anything about this? is this a scam?

What has this got to do with flight delay compensation?

It is similar to the calls re "accident in last 2 years" "PPI" etc...they will contact 1,000s of people to find one that really qualifies and they can get a cut
There is compensation for those that are affected by poor hygiene. Amounts will vary depending how long you were hospitalised for, doctor confirming illness due to hotel food (stool samples) etc
Were you ill? what was the diagnosis? how long were you incapacitated/hospitalised?
There is no compensation for just staying in a hotel/area0
