Made a mistake and bought phone locked to O2

This afternoon I bought mobile phone on ebay and realised after I'd paid that it was locked to O2. I thought I'd filtered out all the locked phones. I tried to cancel the order but didn't get any response and now the phone is on it's way to me. Is there any quick and cheap way to get the phone unlocked. A local shop can do it but it takes 8 days and costs £25. If not then I'll send the phone back and get a refund.

read this to check if it CAN be unlocked http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Unlock-code-Sony-Xperia-Z-Z1-Z2-Z3-Compact-EE-02-T-MOBILES-UK-NETWORKS-/222240755626?hash=item33be94cfaa:g:27YAAOSwgZ1XvDRR
or you could simply moan about a scratch/mark and ask for a refundSave a Rachael

Thank you, I'll try that service when I get the phone. If it can't be unlocked the seller will accept returns up to 30 days after purchase and I will have to pay postage. I bought it from one of the bigger sellers on ebay. They've sold over one and a half million items in the last 12 months with 99.4% positive feedback. if I can get it unlocked for a reasonable cost it will be worth it as there's a 12 month guarantee on the phone and it's described as being in very good condition.Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:0

You can get it for less than the above link, try:

The first ebay seller says they can get the code in 1 to 4 days and the second one says 3 to 5 days. Both sellers have good feedback. I may try the cheaper one and see how I get on.Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:0

I used the cheaper unlock code seller on ebay and it was fine. It took four days to get the code and cost £5.39. Job done.Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:0
