County court Excel/BW Legal

Hi, l have read the forums and thank you for all your advice. I received a county court letter and have completed an acknowledgement of service online leaving the defence box empty as advised on here.
Please can you advise me if there is any generic issues l can put as my defence for Excel or BW legal car park fine for not displaying a ticket. There was a ticket on display but it was icy and the windscreen froze over, nobody bothered to scrape it off. Sadly l no longer have the ticket and cannot remember the times on the machine. The car park is very badly lit so l took my colleague out with me to get the ticket but l guess there is no proof of this
Many thanks for your anticipated replies

Have you the photographs from the PPC ? If they show a frozen windscreen, then that is your number one appeal point. If you don't have photographs, then demand them and the PPC has broken the Code of Practice by not sending them to you.
Check the BPA & IPC Codes of practice, and choose the most favourable to your case as Excel belong to both.0 -

Is this even about a parking ticket or is it just Lowell Portfolio 'for' BW Legal, re a CCA Agreement in default?
If not a parking issue you need to be on this forum instead:

Trouble is CM, this sub forum is becoming increasingly more and more about LBCCCs, court cases, Part 18s, witness statements, defences, CCJs, set asides bailiffs and the likes, that sooner or later Google will be defaulting any query using any of the above keywords here. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Although I clicked on this OP's username and found they also posted about this on 'discussion time' so hopefully they just needed a nudge to 'DEBT FREE WANNABE'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for this information l will have a good read, it's so frustrating when you are law biding to have to go through all this stress0
-
Is it too late to demand photograph of frozen windscreen or do l do that as part of my defence please, many thanks0
-
Why get stressed? If you displayed a ticket on your windscreen and it was obscured by ice, I cannot imagine that any judge in the land would find for the PPC.
They may in fact award YOU punitive costs because of the PPC's unreasonable behaviour, see CPR27.14(2)(g), if you ask nicely.
