Moving my washing machine.

Man with van people are coming tomorrow (recommended firm which do home removals and insured)
Msot packing is done but what I am worried about is washing machine, its a old Beko that has a easy to remove waste pipe and a hot and cold screw in type thing at back.
I guess best bet is to remove the waste pipe and hoses before they arrive they will physically move it, but just thinking if I unscrew them wont there be water in machine still?
Other thing is as well about reconnecting it, was told its a single connection at new place so not sure how that works.

turn off the water supply to the machine and disconnect the supply hoses from the supply and the machine and place them in the drum and close the door
if you can move the machine away from the wall then do this and disconnect the drain hose get a washing up bowl and take the drain hose down to the ground and allow any water left in the machine to drain into bowl once done you could move bowl and drain hose onto a towel, there should be retaining clips on the back of the machine to hold the drain hose if so secure drain hose to back of machine
when the machine was new it will have been fitted with a transit bracket located on the top of the drum under the lid or on to the back of the drum, ideally this should be refitted but nobody ever keeps them and most people didnt even know that a machine should be fitted with a transit bracket before it is moved0 -
All modern machines are cold-fill only - they have no connection for a hot pipe and rely on the internal heater element. If yours needs a hot feed as well, you'll have to get a plumber to add one. It might be worth checking if the machine will work with only a cold feed.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Well im assuming its dual feed as when I took it apart to fix it before the back had 2 hoses on that were attached by screwing in (though I didn't remove them)
So I guess may be cheaper to just leave this one and get another one?0 -
Just found the manaul for it online and it says if you only have a cold feed you need a y adaptor0

have a look at the water supply at your new property it may well be set up for hot and cold fill
I did the plumbing for my machine when i moved in 20 years ago and up until four years ago the hotpoint machine i replaced was hot /cold fill the new machine was cold fill only but the hot supply is still there just no longer used
check what you have in your new property before changing the machine
another option if cold supply only is fit a Y adaptor to the cold supply and run both hoses from the cold supply and the machine will heat the water in the machine0 -

Yeah the manual says apply Y adaptor I may have a spare as mistakenly bought one a while back thinking that was what I needed to connect my waste hose to sink so it stopped calling out.
I suppose thats a seperate thing too, under new sink looks like this
I assume thats for the waste hose but my hose is like a thick thing.
EDIT cant get image to work but its like a straight pipe that is thin like a nozzle pointing to the left.
This might be the one

your link is to a standard undersink trap with washing machine outlet
if that is what you have in new house the machine pipe should ft but may be better if secured with a jubilee clip to stop it coming off
my machine has a separate standpipe for the wastewater as the machine is to far from the sink to use the type of trap you linked above0 -
The reason I was confused is at old property the wastepipe attached to a hose under the sink and the hoses went somewhere I didn't see.
I assume thats what you mean, the connection isn't for the wastepipe but the cold water? May seem mad but I need to learn how for future.0 -
