And if the OP has a genuine complaint about the driving and general behaviour of the driver(s) then as they are all operate on the authority of local councils as Private Hire vehicles and drivers, make a note of the licence and registration number and make a complaint.
Thank you!!

DROP KERB ACT 2004 - New parking Laws
Parking Next to a Drop Kerb
What is a drop kerb?
A drop kerb is a roadside kerb / pavement that is angled downwards towards the road to allow vehicles to easily drive up and down the kerb.
Parking in front of drop kerbs is not allowed. It causes obstructions to driveway access, road crossing access and both pedestrian and driver visibility. Blocking driveway and crossing access is inconvenient and selfish but obstructing visibility can be very dangerous to pedestrians and road users.
Parking in front of drop kerbs has been against the rules in London since Section 14 of the London Local Authorities and Transport for London Act 2003 came into force.
"Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 repeals section 14 and gives all local authorities in England with civil parking enforcement powers the ability to take action when a vehicle is parked alongside a dropped kerb in a Special Enforcement Area (that is, an area where parking is, in all other instances, permitted)."

1) Are these vehicles parked or just stopped?
2) Do you live in Greater London?0 -

As above, there is a difference between parking, when the driver has usually gone off, so can't move the vehicle for access, and waiting.
You could get loads of people to submit regular complaints to the council and get double yellow lines round the corner and across your drive because of the dangerous obstruction that waiting causes.
I have them across my dropped kerb, and it is lovely, but the b#st#rds park/wait outside my house in their massively wide hummers (that are much too big for them to drive properly, as they can't possibly reverse a few feet) exactly at the end of the lines (usually with their expensive ultra bright HID lamps full on), so if I want to go down the street in my "modern" car with its 0.0001 degrees of steering lock, I have to make a 500 point turn to not hit them or run over the opposite kerb, or just give up and turn left then drive 1/2 a mile the wrong way.
The problems of living in the First World eh?I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

I have been contacted by the council licensing department.
This situation is under investigation as other residents have complained about Uber and other private cab firms blocking driveways and pavements whilst either waiting to pick up or just parked waiting for the next fare.
This forum is certainly a study in the aggressive nastiness of human nature, a place where commentators can hide behind pseudonyms ... makes you all such experts, well done!0 -
To be fair, you had your question answered at least twice, by myself and Johno100, which isn't bad in 20 posts on here.
I'd go for continual complaints and double yellows, I love mine....I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
