Ordered a contract online, recieved credit agreement but then cancelled

Hello

I have a contract with o2 but I wanted to add additional line to my account so I applied online. The order was confirmed and I was sent my credit agreements to my email address for the amount of credit and product purchased. The agreement had my name and address on it. Then I received an order collection number and the store to collect from. I went to track my order online but it had disappeared from my account and there is no record of an order. I phoned them up to be told the order was declined due to credit check but how can it have declined if I received all the paper work? When I applied for my first contact I went through the same process and collected my phone so I know I would never have received these documents if I was declined. Do you think I have a right to complain. I have everything in black and white so its unfair to decline me after I have received the credit agreements. They also didn't inform me of the cancelled order. Will this affect badly on my credit file?
