Alternatively you can get stick on cable tie fixings to lift the cable off the floor if the wall is suitable.0

The plastic trunking stuff looks ideal for the short time I anticipate the need for it. I'd like the adhesive cable tie holders but not sure if they would stick to the stone walls although a large area is across rough wooden shelving.

You could screw the fixings to the wall if you like. Or get knock-in fixings with a hole for cable ties.0
