Hi Scott. Just caught up with your diary. Sorry to hear that things didn't go forward with LF but it's nice that you have stayed running buddies.

Re sitting next to bores at work - I have to listen to golf, football, shooting, wine ( in the most snobbish way), cars ( extra boring as I dont drive and have no interest at all), and lots of !!!!!ing about other colleagues - these are all men by the way. I told them the other day that I would get them all a saucer of milk to share - they had to think about that one, but it finally sunk in.......

Haha i am a bloke and i cant stand listening too that rubbish you mentioned Seasidegal. I think when you put 4 blokes in a room and all they talk about is football constantly its due too a lack of intellect.

Right anyway enough ranting re the idiots i work with re me being honest i am at a very low ebb at the minute. I am finding it weird not messaging my LF but it had too be done, i am feeling quite low/quite low and worst of all alone etc. I am training loads which is keeping me going that about it really i don't feel right but i won't go on the sick at work as much as i feel like i could do with some time. I have just being told i am getting a 280 pound bonus at work which i really didn't expect and that in 2 months time i will be back in the quarterly bonus pool.

I am having doubts if i have done the right thing ending it re the LF, i have even done the positive negatives thing on a bit of paper re her okay the negatives were fewer but they negatives were also more severe. We didn't go running/train together yesterday and we usually would she made an excuse i expected this too happen.

Re me its going too be weird but i am going to do the Blackpool full marathon still but alone though
my LF had agreed to do it with me but she was going to do the half. We were going to make a weekend of it etc go down on the Friday come back on Sunday. Looks like i am going to go down now via train and her doing it wont happen.

I am well on course training wise i did my first 14miler last friday. The time and av pace were poor but i am getting there i did the 14miler in just over 2hours 49mins, I was fine until the last 3 miles then i was blowing out my backside.

re market research surveys a few things too report:

Populuslive the cheque materialized last Monday cleared on the Friday no issues it did take quite a while from me hitting the 50 pound mark which was a couple of weeks before Xmas.

I am 200 hundred points away from kerching kerching show me the money on yougov

2.50 away from payout on opinium research everything else i am nowhere near.

I'm 450 points away from my YouGov cheque! I've been doing it since June!

Got £20 from Prolific Academic last week but haven't really done any surveys over the weekend at all. They are so boring!

  • Hey Scott, everything okay? I hope your moods improve and you've been doing plenty of surveys.

When is the BPool Marathon?! Are you keeping up with the training? I bet that's hard. I bet there are loads of people who do it alone. There's plenty to do there though without costing much but would depend on what you'd do? Will you stay over?? Good ole fish and chips on the promenade at the end of your marathon! There's a good place on South Pier. It looks a little weird but they are the best fish and chips I'd had in a while.

Hi yes training is going really well I did my first 15 miler last week in 2 hours 53 mins not quick I know but the first 11 miles were fine the rest pain lol I have a 16 to do tomorrow and I am just slightly over 8 weeks out.

I am only doing 3 runs a week a 3 miler on a treadmill in the gym, my long run on a Friday, then a mid run on a Sunday which is usually depending on how my training partner feels a 6-8 miler.

The run/train tickets are paid for I am going to book my accommodation with my February salary there's a Hilton near the start line which has a sauna/swimming pool jacuzzi etc and I have the Sunday off work so I am going to stay the Saturday and Sunday night. (Hotels.com. Topcashback.co.uk)

Re my mood everything is miles better I had a weird 2-3 days, I think it was just not knowing what was going on re my flat. The lad in here before me was emigrating and the weekend I thought I was gunna move in he had !!!!!!ed off to the states a week and not told the landlord. I got in late last Sunday afternoon into my new place yay I am miles and miles happier more space (wandering about in underwear is brill lol). I have fell on my feet to since the lad who left spoke with the landlord and said tell your new tennant for 200 quid extra he can have this lot:

    Double bed
    2 clothes airers
    Chest of drawers
    Sofa
    Tv stand
    Ikea cutlery plates pans etc
    32 inch LG lcd television
    Bed side cabinet
    Hoover
    A toaster kettle etc etc
    A washing machine

The only thing I have had to buy is bedding some towels and tea towels and I have bought one of those little husky counter fridges as there's just me and I am a gym nut so my diet is very clean ie tuna/chicken/oats/sweet potato/veg etc etc I don't need a huge freezer as I eat stuff fresh etc etc

1.80 my betting is 4 weeks lol

Log on first thing on a morning and mid afternoon that's when they tend to drop available surveys down.

I have done next to no surveys at all bar 6-7 opinion outpost surveys at work on Sunday when it was quiet, beginning of the month it has being so busy.

I have no tinternet in my new flat yet. And my friends bt wifi by fone login I was borrowing doesn't not work. I have ordered new broadband I am just waiting on a router coming and stuff being done to the line.

30 quid on top cashback pending for going with EE broadband 10-20 meg speed for 21pound a month.
