Just seen this, that’s such good news.  I found out I was pregnant on Boxing Day - though I realised on Xmas day when I refused cheese !

Being back to reality sucks, back to work, the scales dont like me food and alcohol binges 6kg put on gerrrrrrrrr,

I have joined a new gym a Snapfitness one I dont know if anyone has experience of them? Touch wood so far its canny. I have also spent 60 quid on some stuff from Huel as the last protein powders I used Mrs Woman was complaining I needed to go live outside. My protein never again bad bad stuff/hashtag gut rotter. My new gym seems good much much better opening hours than the last one its a 24 hour gym and has much better kit, machines that work and you dont feel are 30-40 year old cast offs. Its costing me abit more money an extra tenner but my previous one had no cancellation fees etc, I feel bad as it was a gym linked with a charity but elements of it were really bad. ie staff that wouldnt speak/kit falling apart/they played horrendous chavvy music etc etc

Me and Mrs Woman are doing well we had a lovely Xmas, we have a scan this morning to see how Baby Scott/"" is doing i am excited but scared at the same time.

Debt wise everything is flying down my dmp is nearly done, a couple of payments left then freedom.

  • Hi guys I hope everyone is well, my small update everything is going well baby Scott is growing nicely. We have our 13 week scan next week and a midwife appointment later in the week. It looks like from our last appointment we are gunna be consultant not midwife led, guessing thats down to ivf and well us both being a bit older. I am 45/my o/h is 37 and she has one of two underlying things that have affected us doing things naturally. My other half is doing well bar being knackered, and constantly craving weird stuff fish and chips with curry sauce is her current one. Random question when did that start costing 12-13 quid lol? Her other craving omg yuck fish fingers in salsa/ bananas in custard with cinnamon on/ then parmasan/salsa/and tuna with anchovies and soy sauce. Anchovies yuck

Debt wise I can nearly finally breath, I have blitzed overtime the last month to try and get free of debts and get more money in for our new arrival. Depending on how much the tax man cripples me by i should be able to clear a big chuck of my dmp this month, I have done an extra 25 hours so he is going to have a field day with me. But the plan is big big chunk off in Feb, then March pay day I should be able to clear it.

After that all i have is a loan to the o/h which is 3300, gonna blitz that once the dmp is clear and actually build some proper savings up.

I was consultant led - was told it’s because it’s IVF - tbh didn’t change the birth at all, just meant I was under him in case of problems.

  • I am just a tad concerned as my o/h is still on these progesterone things 3 times a day she is just abit worried when she comes off those everything goes belly up. We should know more Tuesday/Thursday, I am praying all is okay we havent had a scan since 9 weeks but that went fine.

    Mini Update

My other half is doing brilliant 19 weeks gone and baby Daniela/Alex are doing great (Newcastle fan names) , we find out the sex on the 31st.

Money wise I am bar a 1000 pound of debt I am nearly free, my dmp I paid it off. I am still surveying when at work and its the Q word

I have at the grand old age of 40 plus finally passed my driving test at attempt 3. I am using the missus's car for the minute but its not ideal. Has anyone ever seen the movie policy academy? Can you remember the scene when hightower rips out the front seats and drives the car from the back seats. I feel like doing that with the missus's car Fiat 500 yuck yuck there not built for someone 16 stone and 6 foot tall with size 12 feet.

A new car is incoming which we are gunna take on with finance, but needs must we wouldnt get a dolls pushchair in this never mind a normal pushchair. Can anyone recommend which small car brands are canny with decent boot size??
