only if the pointing is !!!!!! to begin with. ive never had a problem with cleaning any slabs with the jet wash. and ive done a few of em, not just my own.
they come up like new. just need to do mine about once per annum.
(north facing front garden).

yes best way is to use a high poiwer pressure washer. will take some time but will be worth the wait:T
