Can I use my apple App Store credit for a Disney life subscription?

I got a couple of iTunes gift cards for my birthday and now have a balance of about £40. I'd like to use this to get Disney life on my iPad. Will the monthly subscription fee come off this balance, or would I have to pay with a credit card instead?

If it is an iTunes recurring purchase, then it comes off your available balance. Just make sure you claim the credit off the gift cards and that this shows in your iTunes balance.0
