  • Hiya all
Can I join please, although I have already paid a good chunk off my debt, I feel we are losing momentum, and have lurked on these sites for more years than I care to remember, my debt has decreased for the
Sat 2 years and I want it gone in 3 years and no more, I am setting a target of £7000 off my total debt (not payments made but total after interest added) if that makes sense, I will update a couple of times a month if that is ok when I work out my totals,
Also can I just say a great big thanks to those who run all these great threads, without realising it you are throwing a lifeline to lots of people who without all this support may have sunk.
    Xx
    Jan 2025 £26561.43/£0. I want to clear £9000 this year (2025)

    Hi there,
May I join in please? As of today, I have £2889 left to pay off from a total debt of £5,629 at it's worst (this time last year). This is made up of 5 small debts now that I've managed to smash through a couple of the bigger ones. (I know I've done it 'the wrong way round' but the smaller ones are 0% interest and the larger ones were council tax and H.B. over payments. I'm so glad they are gone!)

I'm really looking forward to this year!

    Thank you.

    Hi!

Can I join please? I've got a fair few debts to pay off but would like to start by paying off 2 credit cards and 2 catalogue accounts. These total approximately £5500. It's a lot but I'm determined to do it :T

I've had a very expensive year.
My debt is the highest it's ever been
My credit card total is £3500
    My car is around £10,500
I'm currently paying a tax credit over payment of around £500
    And my catalogue is £1040

12 payments to my car will pay off £2592
I also will pay off tax credits before the end of the year (2017)
And hope to pay off my credit card and catalogue.
This is a total aim of £7132 + the tax credit over payment.

It will be tough but I hope I can achieve it .

I was on last years challenge and cleared half of my debt - was hoping for a little more but some large house expenses got in the way sadly. (new bathroom, roof leak...)
So I'd like to join again please (not bothered if I dont have the same number)
So this year will be my year!
Im not sure of my exact totals at the moment but I believe it to be about £3200 debt left to clear off.
Will update in the next few days when me and hubby sit down together and go through everything :)
Evening lynneee and welcome back . You have been upgraded this year to # 70

I'd like to join please. A complete newbie to these challenges but now we don't have my income, I need to learn to be more thrifty and get things paid off.

    My outstanding debt is £897.74.

    Thanks.
