Have finally decided to reach into savings to pay off credit card - resisted this for ages but I've finally decided it is the most sensible thing. I managed to pay off one credit card and an overdraft without using savigns but if I truly want to be debt free before Christmas, which I really do, I needed to just use some of my savings pot on this last credit card.
Happy to say that I am now debt free!! Amazing feeling

Now to concentrate on rebuilding my savings pot and continuing to save for a deposit on a first home with my husband.
Good luck to everyone and massive thanks to muppets for running this challenge!:TCONGRATS GalRob
Good luck with rebuilding the savings and saving for a house deposit. xx

I've paid £913 since I was last on here that seems such a lot and I am so grateful to Muppets for the inspiration. I won't be debt free by Christmas and I'm only going to pay the minimum now for a while but i can see the end in sight. I have had a job sadly it looks like I may lose it but hey ho. Well done people. I am trying to get a lodger any ideas? I hated air B n B it was so stressful.PAYDBX 2020 - #01 Pd £15,029.29 / £13,140.66 - 114% 🎉
