Hi, paid the last £50 of the part of my 0% running out on 2nd Sept :)

I'll only be putting the minimum payment in next month because we get our new house a week on Friday. This month I'm just going to aim not to get into any more debt and then get back on it in October!

I won't be debt free by Christmas and I'm only going to pay the minimum now for a while but i can see the end in sight. I have had a job sadly it looks like I may lose it but hey ho. Well done people. I am trying to get a lodger any ideas? I hated air B n B it was so stressful.

Mon - Fri lodger? They stay Mon-Thurs night, meaning you get your weekends to yourself. There are several websites for it - one is spareroom.co.uk. My husband has used MOn-Fri lettings 3x now - his job means he can get contracts for several months anywhere so stays away if too far to commute and then he comes home at weekends. You get the same lodger for weeks/ months, but still time to yourself - quite a win: win, imo :)
